Christine 'Tina' (Blanchette) Landrette

Christine “Tina” (Blanchette) Landrette, of Bristol, passed away of natural causes at home on Feb. 15, 2021, at the young age of 73. Tina was born on Dec. 21, 1947 in Waterbury. She was the daughter of the late Florient and Bertha (Vaillancourt) Blanchette. Tina had a strong passion for cooking, crafting, painting ceramics, and a love for animals. She was a dedicated bus driver for First Student of Bristol for many years. You may also recognize her as one of the owners and operators of the former “Mom’s Place” in Terryville. Also, she was known as “MOM” by many neighborhood kids. Tina is survived by her children Joe (Martha) Landrette of Plainville, Albert Landrette of Bristol, Marie Landrette of Bristol, Ed (Lisa) Robinson of Plainville, Carl Robinson of Plainville, Amanda (Joe) Caron of Bristol, along with eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, several cousins, and many friends that she loved deeply. Tina’s smile, laugh, and her “homemade pasta” will always be remembered. There are no services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
