To The Editor,
During the pandemic, we have all learned that safety precautions save lives and lower infection rates. Whether that be wearing masks, social distancing, hand hygiene, or other methods of limiting exposure to others, these interventions have all proven to reduce our infection rates in Connecticut.
As the Democratic State Representative candidate for Bristol’s 77th District, I fully support your right to vote and to do it safely. If you are able to get to the polls on Election Day and feel comfortable doing so, please do. If you have concerns for your safety for any reason, please don’t let that stop you from voting because you have the option of absentee voting. I support absentee voting for all who feel it is necessary to protect themselves.
My opponent, state Rep. Cara Pavalock-D’Amato and the 78th District’s state Rep. Whit Betts are the only two state representatives in all of Connecticut to vote against your right to vote while staying safe. They would rather you put your health and safety at risk to cast your ballot at the polls.
As your State Representative, I will continue to support what’s in the best interest of all, free of outside influence and personal agendas. Please vote for me in this year’s election.
